Documented Life Project - the unPlanner - Week 11

Welcome back to another DLP Friday!  I have a-whole-nother week to share with y'all!  Let's just jump in to it...

We'll start with the journal page on the left.  This page was done on the back of last week's Weekly View page.

I started with a layer of washi tape (all different sorts - anything in my stash).  On top of the washi I added streaks of pink, blue, and white acrylic.  Ontop of that I added some collage elements, words, and outlined it all in a black stabilo pencil.  Nice and simple but I love that gypsy.  I really want her dress!

In the other image you can see everything I've compiled for this week.  My PAC in its' own pocket, my list, my word, my Dare2B, and my Weekly View peeking through.

The challenge for this week's PAC was to "Use Leaves - Real or Drawn"  I chose to go with some stamped Dylusions leaves because you just can't go wrong there!

I can't find a link, but I used Color Splash Watercolor Sticks from Michael's to color the bird and leaves.  These are basically metallic Gelatos.  The scribbly bird is by Dina Wakley.  Michael's is starting to carry Dylusions, Dina Wakley, and Tim Holtz Stamp and Stencil sets but they aren't listed online nor can I find links any where else.  This is a small scribbly bird clear stamp.

I'm working on a deadline that is coming up very quickly next week and I keep having loads of doubts about my abilities.  But when it all boils down, I will be very disappointed in myself if I don't at least try.  So my word this week is simple - "Try".  I think it's a great reminder every day to just try no matter if I fail.  At least I will have tried!

My list this week is a simple To Do List.  But it is so much fun to make it far more than just a simple "To Do".  Presented in this fashion, I will be able to look at in in years to come and see what occupied my time.
The feathers I've attached to my crinkle ribbon are stamped on paper from a small pad I picked up at Michael's (part of their Boho collection this spring).  The stamp and die set I used are by Art C - called a Stamp and Cut Set.  This particular set is "Feathers" and seems to only be available at Michael's but not searchable online.  I stamped the diamonds using an Ombre Dye Ink Pad.  The ink pad is part of Michael's current spring "Color Splash" collection.

My Dare2B word this week is "Productive".  I have deadlines I must get done and therefore must be productive!  I chose to add another collage piece on the back of this manila tag.  It was created in the exact same way and at the same time as the full page from the beginning of this blog post.

I have had a fairly full week but at the same time it's been rather bland.  My oldest daughter has been sick all week so I haven't gotten as much done as I would have liked.  She missed Band Practice and her Band Festival!

On the back of this week I used a new supply I picked up at Michael's.  It's a Resist Pen and it's made by Recollections for their spring Color Splash Watercolor collection.  I scribbled a little bit and then sprayed it with Dylusions Ink Sprays.  It did make a mess but resisted wonderfully!

That was my week!  I hope you enjoyed perusing my unPlanner!

See you next time,
