Documented Life Project - the unPlanner - Week 10

Welcome to March!  I have the first week of March's unPlanner to share with you so get comfortable!  This is my view as I turn my divider.  Look at that yummy color!  I think I'm going to try to share some full views occasionally.  If I'm going to share, I ought to share all of the lovely goodness that I get to see every time I open my unPlanner!

Here is my March Divider.  It started life as a single sided gelli print on bristol.  I added various stenciling in gold and one of my favorite quotes with a white paint pen.  The back side of my gelli print was white so I sprayed it with London Blue and Calypso Teal Dylusions Ink Sprays.  Once dry, I sprayed Shimmer Turquoise Media Mister through a Faber-Castell stencil.  I used Faber-Castell stencils and Venetian Gold to add a few touches.  Once everything was dry, I added my Goals and Words for the month using my favorite white pen.

I got a few new stencils so of course I had to play.  I used Dylusions paints and a turquoise pen to embellish a couple of black tags.  I added some funky yarn and ribbon to the tops before adding them to my binder.

Here is my Monthly View.  I've seen several instances where different people have stopped using their Monthly View page but I enjoy still using it.  It's a quick dashboard for what I've got going on that day as well as the perfect place to put my Theme Challenge.  I like to do a full art journal page with that month's theme on the back so it's perfect for me.  Here's the proof.  This month's theme is : Seeking Treasure - Finding value in the small things.

I loved using that stencil so much that I had to use the masks somewhere!  I also am finding it fairly easy to work on the back of two pages at once - and therefore extending my theme challenge a little more.  I also get another chance to do a full page using the same or similar supplies and doing something completely different.  A fun growth exercise.

Here you can see my PAC, the other lotus tag and my week.  I love flipping through this unPlanner so much.  I have never been good about keeping a day planner of any sort but I am absolutely in love with this format.

Here are close ups of my PAC for this week.  The challenge was: "Go Splatter Crazy".  I've tucked my PAC into a little pocket this time.  I have no idea who the pockets are by but I do know I got them at Hobby Lobby.

The Weekly View on the left is technically from last week but I didn't want to include it in February so here it is for March.  On the right you can see the current week.  I decided to do something a little different for my numbers this month.  I took a very purple/pink gelli print I made, cut it into strips, ran it through my xyron sticker machine, and punched 1" circles from my new sticker sheets.  I then cut the circles in half.  I've seen a lot of people - in particular, the ladies from Art to the 5th - do this and I wanted to join in the fun.  It definitely gives me something to doodle off of which can be a lot of fun.  I used a huge piece of washi tape to denote Spring Break week.  None of my white pens really liked writing over it but it worked all the same.

So welcome to March!  I hope you've enjoyed seeing this first glimpse.

I decided to include the materials and supplies (the ones I could include) after each item this week.  Did y'all enjoy that?  If so, I will keep doing it.  I am finding that I am using a ton of different supplies in different places so I thought I'd be better off breaking it up rather than listing it in one big jumple.  If you like it, I will continue doing it.  :)  Yes, these are affiliate links (of a sort).  If you click on them you will be taken to a store where you can purchase them.  I do not get paid at all to use these products or to link them in my blog.  I just like the way they are listed with an image so you can find them if you choose to purchase them yourself.

I'm off to go make another mess and do some doodling at work.  Hope you have a great weekend.

Until next time,
