WOYWW - Journals in the Making

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday!  I can't believe, again, that another week has just flown by.  And now we are into February.  For many it is a cold and blustery time of year.  For us... we're running the AC and dodging tornadoes.  Not fun!

But I do have some fun going on on my desk today so we'll jump straight to it...

I've been toying with the idea of joining Journal 52 and finally decided this weekend to jump right in.  I'm working in a small Dylusions Journal and playing catch up.

This goodness is what happens when I start playing catch up!  Stuff everywhere!

Now, if you've been following along the past couple of weeks, you'll notice two new drawer sets in this area of my studio.  One empty and one full.  That's because I got...

THIS in the mail yesterday!  My order from DecoArt came in and I couldn't be more excited.  There is a whole lot of yumminess in those boxes!  But where to put them?

In my DecoArt spinner of course!  Normally, that 2nd tier is full of "tools" - sponge dabbers, tweezers, mark makers.  Hence the need for additional drawers on my turquoise book case.  Pure awesomeness.   I will definitely be creating some fun gelli prints today - my favorite way to experiment with new paints.

Well, that's what's on my work desk!  I hope you enjoyed.  Jump over to Julia's to have a peek around some more awesome desks.  I'll see ya next week with another view of my desk!

Until then,

  1. Love that journal page! So I have one of those little shelf units like yours, which has the little cubbies and one drawer. Now I see what it looks like when you get all the matching ones and put them together properly. Fantastic! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #44

    1. Thanks Sandy! I'm finding them to be really useful. Kinda wish I didn't because I don't really want to invest all that much but... :)

  4. I'm really late on this post, but had sometime...Like the 3 tier stand you are using for your paints. I love snooping around crafty areas. I've 2 desks and only a 12 x 12 spot open to work in. Way too much clutter when I start projects. A great start on your journal page too. Will start my visits for this week in a few hours. !!! Enjoy
