Art Journal Page - Laughter

I know it's Friday and I ought to be sharing my first week of DLP 2016 but I have just gotten (almost) all my supplies together and gotten started putting it all together.  So I'm sharing another "extra" page in my 2015 DLP Journal.

This page started off with a sketch of this girl colored with my usual combination of Neocolor II's and Inktense pencils.  I colored the background with Neocolors and then let it just sit for several days.  I wasn't sure where I wanted to go with it.

I finally decided to bite the bullet and just start adding things.  I used a Crafter's Workshop stencil and Bubblegum Pink Dylusions paint.  Then added a little stamping with a Harlequin Background and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink.  I stamped some painted bubble wrap used gesso through the same stencil.  I'm really bad about leaving "white space" or even creating it and so I thought I'd add a little white here and there.  I then dry brushed some Pthalo Blue acrylic and used my fingertips to add white dots.

I then stamped a quote using some alpha stamps a friend gave me.  I have no idea what brand they are, I only know they came from Australia, and outlined with my white Uni-Ball Signo.

It still needed something else so I stamped some flowers and doodle borders by Suzi Blu.

Life is much better when you're laughing!

Hope you enjoyed!
