Art Journal Page - Girl with Flower

Hello and Happy Saturday everyone!  Today I'm sharing my latest page from my DLP 2015 "extra pages".  You know, I still have a whole bunch of these to go!

Today I am sharing one that is inspired by the super talented Danita (danitaart.com)!  This little girl started out with my ususal Neocolor II's.  I also used a black and white Stabilo pencil.  The background is stamped with Wild Honey and Peeled Paint Distress Inks using stamps from Unity Stamp Co.

For a little added dimension I used some beautiful magenta and green twine and paper flowers from my stash to give her some bows, a necklace, and a flower to hold.

Danita does a much better job of creating her art, but I enjoyed trying something a little different.

I have really stretched myself with this entire project.  I know I've said that before but I'm really just surprised and impressed with myself.

I've been spending this last week gathering supplies and beginning work on my DLP 2016 binder.  It is something completely different from everything I've ever done!  I'm really liking how it's coming together!

I'll be sharing some more this upcoming week so be sure to come back!

Until then,
