Art Challenge: Tissue Paper

Journal Prompt:  Disappearing Trick

Oooh this one wasn't fun to start.  In fact, I started a whole page and promptly messed it up completely!  I'm so glad that there are some extra pages in the back of the Dylusions journal!  This is the second time I've had to "move back" because I didn't feel like reworking the page to death!

So I started by spraying my Dylusions Inks and then added tons of stamping and stenciling.  Once that was dry I added strips of Tim Holtz Tissue Tape.  I know the Challenge called for Tissue Paper, but I completely forgot about it and by the time I was to this stage I didn't want to cover up all my lovely hard work with tissue paper.

I used Bert and Flossie masks and Dylusions paint in Black Marble to cover much of my page.  I was careful not to do full coverage though because I wanted some of that delicious background to show through.

I added some border stenciling in White and my quote with my favorite white pen.  I then doodled around my figures and added some stars to complete the page!

I might add that it is getting very difficult to work in my journal now.  It's very bulky on the left hand pages and I can no longer get it to lay flat!  I'm not complaining, mind you, because I'm very happy that there is so much art in it!!

I can't wait to see what the next Challenge is!  This has been a massive under-taking but I really am so glad I've done it.

See y'all next time!
