What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday - WOYWW

Hey y'all!  It's Wednesday again - where did the time go?  Oh that's right... I've spent it at work!  I dread move-in weekend.  I know that's maybe mean to say but I really do dread it.  Ten thousand kids and parents and no one knows what they're doing.  Ok, ten thousand is an overstatement.  But truly, two thousand kids plus one to two parents a piece equals somewhere in the five to six thousand range of people with no clue milling about my campus.  It's a nightmare.

That being said, I haven't had time for anything but work, a little sleep, and work again.  I did however manage to stay up one night because the bug had bitten and I just couldn't ignore it anymore.  I got out one of my 24" x 36" canvases and got started throwing paint around.  I'm not any where near finished as I had too much wet and my eyes were closing on me.  I'm hoping that I can find a little time somewhere on Thursday to add a few more layers.

That's what's on my workdesk - not a whole lot.  Just one big work in progress.  I'll be trying to make rounds a little more this week as my time starts getting freed up a little more on Monday.  Y'all have a great week!

To hop around some other fabulously messy and more intriguing desks than mine, head over and check out the WOYWW deskers!

See y'all next time around!

  3. That is beautiful art. You must be a teacher. Moving in, though? At a college? If I knew exactly what you do, I have forgotten. Sorry. But I know one thing, you are a talented artist! #53

    1. Thank you Sharon. No, not a teacher - I am a dispatcher for Campus Security at a local college.

Hope 'movin in' weekend goes well.
I'm a bit late in commenting, but I like taking my time and reading people's blog and sometimes older posts too.
    Have a great week,
