Journal Prompt:  If You're Going to be Weird, Be Confident About It!

Hello all!  This week's challenge was all about being weird!  I'm still working on faces and I chose to do a princess.  Or rather.  "Queen of Odd".  I reworked and reworked and reworked this one.  It fought me terribly.  You can tell from the picture just how warped the paper got.  Oh well.  I'm still happy with the way she turned out.

I found the best quote to go along with the Prompt as well!  It definitely makes me smile every time I read it.

I know... short and sweet today.  Y'all have a great week and I'll see you next time!

  1. You may have grappled with this spread, but it's turned out beautifully! The colours have such depth and the Queen of Odd is lovely. I really like that quote too! xx

  2. Beautiful I love her crown. I agree with Julie Ann that's a great quote and one I try to live up too. Hugs Deb xx

  3. All the working and re-working really paid off - it's a wonderful spread! (And I love your choice of words!)

  4. You'd never know by looking that you'd had any problems - its fabulous!
She's beautiful - I love the quote, the colours and everything else... Gill x

  5. I love your art and that you are embracing your oddness. I do too!

  6. I could never tell you struggled. I love queens and I always loved taras!

  7. Great piece. I always feel it's the work struggling to free itself from us -- and come through us. Not actually us that is struggling. At any rate - you your never tell. Looks so free. hugs, Donna

  8. Wow Brenda, gorgeous faces, thank you for both your link ups on Show Your Face in August. Sorry for being so slow getting around to seeing them and commenting! Kx

Each comment, blog hug, or bit of love just makes my day so much brighter! I can't thank you enough for taking time out of your busy day to leave me a little message! :)
