ATC Monday - "May Flowers"

It's Monday again!  And that means it's time for another edition of ATC Monday!  Continuing from last week's theme of "April Showers", today we have "May Flowers"!  I love it when a theme just comes together, don't you?

This card was also made for the #atcclub2015 Instagram group.

This ATC began life as overspray mop up paper.  The background flower is stamped with Mowed Grass Distress Ink using a stamp from Unity Stamp Co.  The bright flowers are collaged pieces of old book text stamped and sprayed with Funky Fuchsia, Bubblegum Pink, and Pure Sunshine Dylusions Ink Sprays.  "Bloom" is a Dylusions alpha stamp set.

This was fun little card - very bright and full of life.  That's my favorite part of May... the flowers and the life just springing forth everywhere!  Truly though, I find it so exhilarating to wake up and go past the same landscape every day and watch as the trees, bushes, and flowers begin to bud, then have a few flowers, then a mass of flowers, then fully leaf and bloom and just grow into these amazing beautiful things that fill my heart with joy and inspiration.  Down here in Mississippi Bradford Pear trees are extremely popular in everyone's yards and neighborhoods and these are some of my favorite trees to watch bloom.  You can literally come across it every day and see a new stage.  In the fall when the leaves start changing it happens all over again.  It's just breath taking.

It's so hot here in the middle of August that I could do with some lovely Spring weather.  On that note y'all I will see you back here next Monday with another ATC!

Until then,
