WOYWW - What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday

Hey there Wednesday blog hoppers!  Welcome back to another edition of WOYWW!  As you can see here I have the unfamiliar and before now unidentified animal known as a clean desk.  No my friends, this is not staged nor is it particularly dangerous.  Having poked it thoroughly with sticks I can assure you that it will not bite.

Step up close and let's take a better look at this creature.

To the left of the beast you will find a cast iron cookbook stand (thrift shop find and until recently, in use to actually hold cook books.  On the far right you will see a new table lamp for a little additional lighting.  And dead center... yes I know that's the only part you were truly interested in... sits not one but two travel art bags!  You can find out more about the bags here.

Yesterday was a craft day with my local crafty besties Lilia and Elizabeth at our local Michael's.  Did you know you can book their classroom space for free?  You can!  None of us have the space at our houses for the three of us to really spread out so Michael's accommodates us nicely.  We worked on art journals and my bags are full to bursting with journals, paints, stencils, stamps, inks, and a brayer.

I worked on my Documented Life Project for this week which I hope to finish up tomorrow.  I got a great stat in between the giggles and cutting up that we three get into while together!

For more awesome desks (which are a lot more interesting than mine this week), head over to Julia's place to join in the fun!

Until next week, have a great Wednesday and happy crafting!!

    1. Thank you! The cookbook stand is a photo prop! Especially for art journals. It's much easier to prop the journal up than try to get over it without creating a shadow.

  7. I have one of those creatures at my house too! They don't stay that way for long though, they tend to pick up things as they wander round the room, and sometimes they will downright eat something - never to be seen again! My beast has been clean for about 2 weeks now, still doing well! Thanks for sharing! Lindart #61

    1. Hahaha! It's scary when they eat things because you're never quite sure what they ate! Two whole weeks? I'm impressed!
