Sweet Treats - Artist Trading Cards

Hey y'all!  Welcome to another ATC Monday.  Today I'm sharing a set of sweet ATCs for a special Sweets Swap.

I went on Pinterest and found an idea for a background.  I had no idea where I was going to go from the background - I wasn't particularly inclined to actually draw anything and I hadn't found the perfect stamp yet.  I started by adhering old dictionary pages to my base.  I used Tea Dye Distress Ink all over and then stamped Dwelling Dots (Unity Stamp Co Layers of Life Nov 2014) in Vintage Photo.  I added a Recollections lacy border stamp in Blue and Pink pigment inks on the outside edges and then added coordinating washi.

I finally found my perfect stamp - "Guilty of Love in the First Degree" by Tiddly Inks.  I stamped it onto mixed media paper, colored with Inktense Pencils and cut out.  I added white highlights with my Uni-Ball Signo pen.  I stamped "Candy" in black archival ink with an Alpha set by Jillibean Soup and little candy hearts that came with the Tiddly Inks set.  Outlined and highlighted in white, inked the edges in black and sent them out to be swapped!

This was a difficult swap to come up with an idea for but I'm glad I found the Tiddly Inks stamps - they are some of my new favorites!

Happy creating y'all.  Now go make art!
