"Dreamer" an Art Journal Page

Welcome to Journal Thursday!  Today I'm sharing with you a little page I did while at work this past weekend.  I have a small Dylusions Journal that I am trying to convince myself to use as it is small and therefore supposedly portable!

This page began life as some Dylusions Cherry Pie smears - my attempt at not wasting all that lovely ink.  As usual, I had no clue where or what this page would or could be.  I started smearing paint and this is what I came up with.

By the way, the heart started life blue.  After I added the Molding Paste however, it pulled all the Dylusions Ink through 4 layers of blue paint.  It worked out well enough in the end but it so wasn't what I had had in mind!

Supplies used:

Distress Paints (lots of colors, don't even remember them all)
Dylusions Stamps and Stencils
The Crafters Workshop Stencils & Heidi Swapp Stencils
Bo Bunny Background Stamps
Souffle Pens
OHTO Fude Pen
Stabilo Pencil
Distress Crackle Paint
Neo Color II
Colorbox Ink (Frost White)
Archival Ink (Black)

I don't think I'm up for much art journaling at work (I tend to make a huge mess), but we'll see.  The semester is half over and Summers are very quiet at work.  I guess I will just have to find some time at home to journal more!  I do like the smaller size Dylusions though.

Happy Crafting y'all!
