A Problem Solved

Since I made those bookmarks for my handmade art journal, my original envelope just wasn't big enough!  The bookmarks were too long.  So what's a girl to do?  Well, if the girl is crafty, has scrabook paper, and a Cricut cartridge that will cut envelopes...well she makes her own envelope!

I have no idea who makes this scrabook paper - I found a huge pack of it at Tuesday Morning.

I used my Plantin Schoolbook cartridge and cut the long envelope, size 7".  It was absolutely perfect!

I taped the envelope down using turquoise chevron washi tape (Spare Parts by the Paper Studio), stamped the large "You are Loved" stamp by Suzi Blu (Unity Stamp Co), wrote my little note, and stamped a lovely little quote from Dylusions.

The bookmarks fit perfectly and I like this envelope much better than the original!

And in case you're wondering, yes I did.  I cut a whole stack of envelopes because I was having too much fun to stop!

Happy Creating y'all!
