Zentangles

Oh what a crazy couple of weeks!  It always is right before school starts.  My oldest daughter is starting 7th grade this year.  We've had to finish up Summer Reading and do that project, get her trumpet from the shop, and of course, get school supplies.  She picked out some really cute things this year!!

In and amongst all this running around like a chicken, I have managed to get some art done!

This piece took me about 2 1/2 days to complete (with a nosy toddler trying to snatch my pens around, it ain't easy!), but I do love how it turned out.

The shading above the branch doesn't show up well in the picture, but it is there!

I used both Sakura Micron Pens and Faber-Castell Pitt Pens as well as a General's Sketch'n'Wash pencil with a water brush.

I'm off to do some more school related things... see y'all soon!

Laters!
